Wide Fund For Nature Hong Kong (WWF Hong Kong)
Hong Kong's biggest NGO dedicated to conserve
biodiversity and promote environmental education. Also a member
of the WWF international
network.
Living
Islands Movement
Works to conserve the natural environment
of outer islands in Hong Kong. Currently actively monitoring the
Hong Kong SAR government's proposal to build a super prison near
Hei Ling Chau island in the South Lantau sea.
Earth
Hour
To inspire people to take action on climate
change. Started in Sydney in 2007 by asking the people to turn off
their light for one hour.
Wild
Animal Rescue Foundation of Thailand
See their Gibbon Rehabilitation project in Phuket.
Malaysia
Nature Society
The oldest scientific and non-government organisation
in Malaysia dedicated to nature conservation and appreciation.
Hong
Kong Bird Watching Society
Promotes bird watching as an activity that everybody
can take part in. Also works to conserve natural environment.
